Sleep and Health

For years many people have been trying to figure out why we sleep. Do we really need to sleep? How important is sleep to our overall health? Are sleep and health connected? You might be amazed at how intertwined sleep and health actually are.

Sleep and health, it refreshes us like nothing else. It can occasionally be elusive, almost always comforting, and definitely essential to our survival. We actually spend 33% of our lives asleep and we dont really think about it at all, until we can't sleep. Then we can't think about anything else. When you have trouble sleeping, suddenly your not as alert, or active. You may have problems concentrating, staying awake while driving(if thats not a health concern I dont know what is) Your immune system is not as strong when you suffer from lack of sleep.
