Sleep Requirements

Do you have sleep requirements? Do you even know what sleep requirements are? I'm not talking about the sleep requirements your mate tries to enforce, such as who sleeps on which side of the bed. The sleep requirements I am talking about are your bodies sleep requirements.

Lets talk about the science of sleep requirements, well I'll talk and you read. How much sleep do we really need for health and energy. For most people we need at least 8 hours of sleep to sustain us for 16 hours of wakefulness. If we sleep less we tend to be more sleepy during the day and fall asleep at inappropriate times.

Researchers have now found out that some peoples sleep requirements may be as high as 10 hours per night for optimum balance and alertness. Actually people who live in societies out of bounds of our industrialized and modern world typically get about 10 hours sleep per night. So as you can see sleep requirements do vary from individual to individual, but sleep requirements on average run 8 to 10 hours. For a better healthier life make sure you meet your sleep requirements.
