Sleep Stages

Do you know what happens when you go to sleep. Did you know that there are different sleep stages. Do you know what your sleep cycle is? Did you even know you had a sleep cycle. Did you also know that the sleep stages are all included in your sleep cycle and your sleep cycle is repeated several times throughout the nite? Probably not, many people dont have a clue what goes on in thier brains after the lites go out.


To obtain a really good nites sleep you dont want to have any interruptions to your sleep cycle during the sleep stages. There are 4 sleep stages in a sleep cycle that are repeated 3 to 4 times an evening. Some claim there are 5 sleep stages, however only the 4 main sleep stages are repeated throughout the nite, the initial stage when you close your eyes and actually fall asleep only happens once. Unless of course your woken up, in which case you would need to repeat that first sleep stage again.


If you do have problems falling asleep or just staying asleep because of various interuptions, you may want to consider a sleep aid of some sort. One of the best sleep aids that I have found after much trial and error is a product called somnien. There are many sleep aids out there, unfortunately they dont all work very well. I can recommend somnien because it works great for me. Anyway it's important to get a good nites sleep, if not for any other reason than your health. You always feel beter after a good nites sleep, and there's no better way to do that than making sure your sleep cycle and the sleep stages go uninterupted all nite long. Good nite.
